Piggy Bank Ban

Halifax and NatWest banks are to ban piggy banks in promotional material as they may offend some muslims. Does the ban offend anyone?

Is the BBC unable to confirm the ban or are they ashamed to report it?

Anonymous, good spot! Is this an example of the left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing!?!

To be fair, I'm unable to find any links to the Daily Express / Star to confirm the post!!

No. It's a case of hawks not grasping how mendacious doves can be. The story we reported is sound -- The only problem we've had is in confirming whether the ban is nationwide (no pun intended) or specific to certain areas of the country. The Express/Star group don't keep their stories online, so we've had to rely on the Australian/U.S. press for the story.

If true, it's another example of the majority being treated like rubbish and our homegrown traditions being trampled underfoot.

Multiculturalism seems to mean being trampled over by the priggishly PC English types and bigoted and self-centred Scottish/Welsh brigades and a few recent arrivals. The majority of Muslims have regard for cultural differences and seek not to judge/offend the English.
