Bishop criticises BBC Pay?

Does the Bishop of Worcester think that high salaries "justified" by performance within the BBC are as "galling" to NHS workers as high salaries within the square mile!?!

What we find most unfair when looking at pay rates is when people who earn huge sums of money are also insulated from the risk - Right Reverend Peter Selby, Bishop of Worcester.

It is ironic that The Established Church depends upon Subscribers and The Established Broadcaster depends upon Compulsory Levies.

Never have I heard the Secular Church of the BBC tell us why their pulpit should be subsidised and God's pulpit left to the vagaries of the audience.
