If Harriet Harman is unable to appear as a guest on BBC1's Question Time as she was "mysteriously withdrawn at the last minute", should she remain an elected representative when she is not prepared to face the electorate?
Unfortunately, this is standard Labour policy when facing hostile questioning. Radio 4 frequently struggles to find a Labour spokesperson when discussing controversial events. Does Radio 4 keep a record of such "no shows"?
