Life is life for victims.

A woman reported her apparent killer to police just one week before she was fatally stabbed by him.

I can confirm that Mr Clarke was sentenced for murder in 1987 - life imprisonment. He was released from prison in May 2003 - Chief probation officer Rob Mandley.

Is Ms Wilson a victim of the lack of capital punishment in the UK!?!

Yes. But more of a victim to the lack of punishment for any crime in the UK. This man should have been off the streets for many, many years. I don't support capital punishment any more and wonder how many killers kill again on release compared to how many killers are found innocent years later?

Bags, the Daily Telegraph recently reported about 30 people convicted of murder or manslaughter had gone on to murder again.

The only person I'm aware of currently who should not be in prison is the man found guilty of the murder of Jill Dando. The circumstantial evidence is far too weak to merit a conviction.

murderers believe in capital punishment, only not for themselves.
