Air heads!

Are domestic airside workers being discriminated against if they have to undergo criminal records checks that are "too long and too complex" to be carried out for foreign workers!?!

Unbelievable. Not sure if it is critical for car park attendants and the like but if thorough checks are not possible for jobs in the more sensitive areas like baggage handling or anything that allows access to secure areas, they should not be employed.

Its amusing at Luton airport where long queues of white British folk are given the full search treatment (no bottled water allowed sir) before going airside. While outside the window one can witness full on beardy muslims going about their lawful business handling luggage.

No secruity loopholes there, no siree.
