If Alistair Darling wants to save the housing market from itself, why not give homeowners £50bn to pay off their mortgages rather than give it to the banks!?!
As it is, inflation will now go through the roof whilst the economy goes down the toilet!
PS What about those of us who have waited patiently for the biggest house price correction in a generation!?!
