Fat VAT?

Has VAT be enough to stop the hordes of poor people eating Big Macs & Fries at McDonalds each day!?!

Of course not, it doesn't stop them buying fags.... or satallite TV's, ot top of the range trainers, or dog food for their staffordhire bull terrior, or their fri/sat/sun night binge drinking..... it wouldn't stop them buying take away food either.... They would save on not buying the kids a decent school uniform, or school dinners (Unless they already get the school to pay for that anyway)

In which case, the answer is a plain no.
