If a father insists that his 12 year old daughter wear the full niqab, why doesn't she attend an Islamic school rather than a selective girls grammar school in Buckinghamshire?

Update: Pub Philosopher points out that the father can threaten the school with £50,000 of taxpayer funded legal aid whilst it could cost council taxpayers £500,000 to defend the case!

Your question suggests that it is the general communities fault that muslims are isolated from society. News items such as this suggest that for some extreme Muslims, they will 'integrate' with wider society but always on their terms.
If I visted a mosque, I would remove my shoes before entering it out of respect. I would not threaten legal action and insist that my human rights were being infringed if forced to remove them.

Are we an Islamic nation?

So why are we paying our taxes for it to go towards segregating children and teaching them out of date values?
What next?
Will we have state supported underage wedding ceremonies?
State supported ceremonial beheadings?
Religious articles should be removed from schools, ALL religious articles, religion held education back so long we cannot let it do so any longer!
I agree with Jason Furness - this site is what we need and the views of the person who created this blogsite should have a party to put these views to the people
Also anonymous the muslims are the ones creating their OWN segregation by EXPECTING us to change OUR country to accomodate tehm when THEIR home country wouldnt accept OUR demands.
They want to live here? - then abide by OUR rules and live within OUR culture and become part of OUR society - dont try to make our country the same as the place where they didnt want to live which is why they came here in the first place!!!!!
