Educational success

Annual complaints about A-level grade inflation would be prevented if just the top 5% of students were awarded 'A' grades. Students would be comparable across year groups and businesses would understand when they were employing top students.

The only losers would be the politicians who would be prevented from claiming that educational standards are rising!

Yes but that would be elitist and non-inclusive and discriminate against the educationally disadvantaged (cont p94)
