Barry George is Innocent (2)

"We're disappointed at today's verdict. But we're especially disappointed for Jill's family and friends." - Scotland Yard commander Simon Foy.

"My sympathy goes out to the family of Jill Dando. This verdict will not bring finality which they must be seeking." - Crown Prosecution Service lawyer Hilary Bradfield.

Where's the sympathy for Barry George and his family having been imprisoned for nine years on circumstantial evidence alone!?!

"Barry George is innocent" - Snafu, 9th June 2008!

BG is the perfect topic for blogging. Conspiracy theories aside, the question I ask is "Does this look like the work of a lone nutcase or a 'professional' organised job?"

I tend towards the latter.

Apparently the police and the CPS still think Barry George did it otherwise their talk of "disappointment" and "sympathy for Jill Dando's family" is literally meaningless. Reading the statements, although the jury's decision is "respected", one can only infer that by failing to nail George the police and the CPS feel they have failed to see justice done. Nice!

By being a self confessed stalker and a thorough menace to women he brought many of the problems on himself and probably should have been locked up anyway. This should be taken into account when considering compensation.

Ok, he is not too bright but frankly I have had too many years of my tax money supporting far too many village idiots to have much sympathy with this latest waste of space.

Xoggoth, you're sense of injustice will be noted when the cost of Barry George's board and lodging at Her Majesty's pleasure is deducted from his compensation payment...

Actually, I am seriously thinking of shooting a celebrity myself(Cliff Richard would be an excellent choice) then I can have a life of luxury with all those free computer consoles.
