A plague upon both their houses!

How ironic that whilst UK troops are fighting and dying for "democracy" in Afghanistan and Iraq, the UK ratifies the Lisbon treaty without the promised referendum!

They are not fighting for democracy, they are fighting for the Glory of Our Great Leader(s). And in Afgh, to protect the narco-state.

Mark, I often wonder why Tony Blair's eldest son Euan did not join up to fight if his Father's aim was so noble!

Exactly, PM's shouldn't declare wars unless they'd be prepared for their sons to go there.

Although, if I were PM, we'd never declare war on anybody ever, me coming from a long line of abject cowards (on both sides of the family).
