Tax cuts increase tax revenues!

How will Labour and the Conservative Party defend their policies of no tax cuts when American tax cuts have reduced the federal deficit to a four year low?

7 years ago the US had a federal surplus which bush and co squandered on war and tax cuts for the rich. While a decrease in the deficit is good news, there ought not to have been a defecit in the first place
