If Pentonville Prison is "overrun with cockroaches and vermin" caused by leftover meals, how come there is sometimes "not enough food" for the inmates? Do the mice get served first!?!

They can't be that hungry. Cockroaches are packed with protein and make delicious 'roaches in a basket'
I thought all these old lags were hard, they're nothing more than a bunch of nancy boys....
Well perhaps the trauma of not being treated with respect will make them reconsider offending again. It sounds like it's heading the right way for a change.
Remember, most of these are probably elderly council tax protesters, TV licence evaders and crime victims who were unwise enough to fight back. The hard core villains, rapists and murderers are out roaming free because of overcrowding and "lack of resources"
One day I hope to learn the precise definition of the term 'respect' in its modern usage.
