No doubt the contractors delivering ID cards will be doing everything they can to deliver as little as possible and invoice for as much as possible before Labour to whom they must have made millions of pounds of donations are kicked out of office but unfortunately the Tories will take years to unpick watertight contracts, and will end up paying over wodges of taxpayers' finest in exchange for nothing whatsoever!

Cheeky buggers. The Conservatives will be faced with a massive bill for continuing or disbanding the ID cards scheme.
I cannot for the life of me think what purpose these will serve, you can't identify illegals because citizens won't have them either. Overstayers won't show them and pretend to be British.
Oh silly me! The way to remedy the uselessness of these is to force all citizens to have them. Then the police will know if people are illegals before they just let them go as usual.
