Why should the UK Government pay the top-up fees of Manx students who study at English Universities when English students are expected to pay their own fees?
I think you'll find the "Department of Education" that's paying the fees is the Isle of Man version, so it's not the British taxpayer. It's not the same situation as in Scotland where, because of massive subsidies of the Scots by the English any additional benefits the Scots vote themselves are effectively paid for out of English wallets.
