Greens welcome gas price hikes?

Should green consumers welcome recent increases in energy costs as they automatically increase the rewards for saving the planet by using less energy!?!

Green consumers can do what ever the hell they like.

Cold weather causes deaths in this country. Little old ladies freeze to death in their houses because they cannot afford to heat them.

If the greens are happy to have the deaths of vulnerable people on their consciences, then hell mend them.

Me, I'm for nobody dying of the cold.

Nope. They will scream about British Gas making 'obscene' profits by exploiting grannies and low income households etc (cont p94).
