Registered workers?

If two thirds of East European immigrants do not know how to register with a doctor and nearly half have received no information about conditions attached to their immigration status, how many have registered to work in the UK!?!

Are we supposed to be sorry for them? I knew all about the conditions of immigration when I emigrated to Australia. The Aussies made bloody sure I understood them before I was allowed in! If it is too hard to find out how to register with a doctor (nope, nobody told me how to register with a doctor here in Australia, I had to find out by my little self) it suggests that the Poles are too thick or too lazy or just too poor at English to be a benefit to the country. Stop trying to be the world's welfare officers and make your immigrants do some of the heavy lifting themselves.
