Qualified majority voting!

If voters are unable to complete a ballot paper correctly, how can they be expected to assess the pros and cons of different political parties!?!

It can reasonably be argued that all ballot papers should be a bit difficult to fill in. This is more acceptable to liberal jellies than an educational standard requirement for the vote. If one were then to exclude all state employees, and state beneficiaries, and all with a criminal record, and impose a modest personal wealth requirementfor voters, we might then end up with a responsible electorate, and even a less corrupt government and political class.

Anonymous, Britain's golden age was before universal suffrage and women were given the vote!
