How many public sector workers face redundancy or pay freezes in 2009!?!

If Britain has had record levels of employment recently, why have we got a budget deficit in the first place!?!

For all my own personal rants on the public sector I do know that some staff grades at the lowest level, admin grades and such like got 0% last year and will get 1% this year. My info comes from access to the DWP pay off 2007 for Jobcentre Plus.

The same cannot be said of their paymasters.
