Trevor Phillips

How can Trevor Phillips stand up and say that good schools "should consider limiting places for middle-class pupils to admit more children from poor homes" when his own children are being educated privately?

"The goal is to ensure that no school has more than a certain percentage on free school meals, or more than a quarter under-performing on regular tests."

I suggest that Dianne Abbott's kid should give up his place at his fee paying school for a more deserving pupil from sink estate towers....... Oh no, that would never happen, would it? Abbott's and Phillips kids cannot be classed as 'middle class' can they? Their parents are sooooooo firebrand left wing, and therefore not middle class. I love it.

Another 'statement' from Mr Phillips to be seen to be appealing to some group on one hand and conveniently forgetting the enormous chunk of hypocracy he is holding in his other hand.

How? Because he is a morally bankrupt hypocrite - he is head of EOC and also makes documentaries on racism, which he flogs to the BBC.

I agree I'm also sick of all those toffey-nose public school Tories telling working class people how our schools should be run. Why don't they piss of and just comment about their own class' schools and keep their nose out of ours.

Bob, when many working class people scrimp and save so that their children can be educated privately, it shows that they know how to run good schools. It's just a shame left-wing "professionals" don't get out of the way and let them!

They can comment about their own class' schools as money talks, votes don't...

PS It's good to know that I can continue to talk about how working class schools should be run.
