Presbyterian conscience?

Was Gordon Brown's "Presbyterian conscience" offended by his £5bn pension raid in 1997 when you remember that his own pension pot is entirely taxpayer funded so it cannot be raided!?!

His Presbyterian conscience is rather curious, as it includes encouraging sodomy, abortion and family breakdown. I mean, fair enough, but why drag religion into it? His little Confucian lectures about his devout father are just nauseating.
