1) Charles was shot in the UK. We regulary send detectives all over the place when UK citizens are killed abroad. What is the difference?
2) Gang members are killed worldwide all the time by the police. Including here. We won't send anybody out for that nor would we be be happy to receive any for our gang members.

I think there is a difference.

It's not the same thing at all.
Bag, I do accept your point but I doubt the families of the suspected gang members shot by the Brazialian Police will become cause celebres!
Whenever anyone is shot by the Police in the UK, it's such an unusual event that it merits a public inquiry.
Particularly when it's a foreigner who overstayed his visa.
