Well, he is a British citizen subject to English Law. He should have been prosecuted for high treason. Thanks to Nulabour's appeasement policy to terrorists and europhiliacs, the mandatory death sentence (unless commuted)for high treason was repealed by s.36 of the Crime and Disorder Act 1998.
