Conrad Blackened?

Why does the BBC consider that the most important currently in the UK is Conrad Black's six-and-a-half year prison sentence?

Is it because he defrauded shareholders or that he used to own a right-leaning newspaper!?!

    Hey, you think I'm bothered? That's their loss... but I'd still like to see Black rot in jail. One less leech and if the Americans lock him up all the better because we don't have to pay for his board and lodgings. .
