Strangers into citizens

How many illegal immigrants were protesting at Trafalgar Square for an amnesty on their status today?

Did Police check everyone's right to be in the UK as they left the protest!?!

    Indeed. Not against a short and cheap appeal process to regularise stay of individuals based on their individual worth but a blanket amnesty would be totally daft for the very obvious reasons.
