Immigration Checks

What reasons are there for immigration checks apart from race and colour?

Ministers say colour or race can never be the reason for an immigration check.

    Anonymous, I'd hate to think that all Scousers, Brummies and Geordies would be asked to prove their immigration status in the South East!
